… also known as the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival. I laughed, I cried, I shopped. In other words, a perfect weekend. It was crowded like always, but not so badly that I felt like I was going to have a panic attack in the main exhibition building (like the last two years.) Maybe I’m just getting used to it.
I met up with my friends, including Cindy, Joan, Kim, Theresa and many other wonderful people who don’t happen to have blogs. (yet)
I bought way too much sock yarn, including Soft Touch Ultra from Shelridge Farms, Esmerelda from the Flock Bransonas (new to me), Jitterbug, Tofutsies, Sockotta, and Trekking.
I actually bought non-sock yarn too. This year I was seduced by lace weight yarn. It’s such a bargain – you really get a lot of mileage for the buck. Of course it takes forever to knit, but I chose to ignore that fact.
I bought some absolutely gorgeous silk from Spirit Trail Fiberworks. Again, I’m not too sure what I’m going to do with it, but once I picked it up I just couldn’t put it back down.
All in all, another great year. Of course now I’m itching to start a new project. I just haven’t decided which one to do first. *smile*

I absoulty love the new banner! and It was really good to see you too...we shouldn't wait so long! :-)
Thanks! It took me all afternoon. :-)
I'd love to get together - Kraemer Yarns, anyone? ;-)
Sarah,
That's very, very cool. You are making me jealous---not only do you actually finish projects in time to wear them, but you have a cool blog, too! ;-) I also love your pictures, especially the sheep.
You'll have to let us know what you end up starting first. I have "A Gathering of Lace" book---let me know if you want me to bring it to Rosie's in June. There are several cool projects in there, IMHO.
(No pressure. Just that I'm now knitting and blogging vicariously through you, ya'know ;-)
Hi there, thanks for visiting my blog and the comment. How interesting about the theory on BPPV, I think you might be on to something, we have high pollen count here right now, although I wouldn't have said I was feeling "allergic".
Nice knitting projects, and your visit to Sheep and Wool looked fun, yes I almost get panicky at Stitches Market myself!
